Induction

Monday 3rd of September

We spent the morning being reantiquated to Luke tony and Justin as well as 2 new faces Sophia and James fox

As well as a whole new class of faces which are delightful and we should get on well as well as we got to set out the plan for the year and what we will be doing and how the entire year will be restructured and presented  also we are shown our first introduction project to help you know some more people and fro the level 2s to refresh our skills and teach us new skills

We named our group David for no particular reason but never the less we were given a series card which all corresponded to a random item that we had to make a short 1 minuet short creative video around the item unfortunately we got the worst item but as well it was one of the more unique items so that you could be more creative and it was a pack of snap cards

  but we managed to get a hybrid game show and western film around the game where when two shoppers see the item the stand of and rush for the item with western influences through out the scene

And when both characters touch the item it changes to a game show and both characters compete for the item through a game of snap.
we have draw out story boards and planed it as well as planned location and props to make the scene seem authentic and funny at the same time  as well as i wanted to use the shot reverse shot into there faces

Tuesday

As well as we spent Tuesday doing eventually the same thing because we spent the day doing our introduction project and learning new faces and getting antiquated with old friends as well as the equipment because the main thing that we dd  was starting to film because we had the afternoon to get everything ready and filmed so that it was available for editing and eventually ready to show to the group .

And i believe that our filming went very well because it all seamed to be relatively easy and with our story boards and group who all knew what to do ad what was going on because it all seamed to go very well and relatively professional even though it felt a bit bodged because of how we did it but it all seamed to to work out and add a comedic feel to it making it better after we had finished editing it .for the filming i feel like it went well because we knew what we were doing and how we were doing it event though we hit a few hitches because we originally planed to film in the college shop and it all seamed to go well until we were told that we could not film in there because it was unavailable but we had a back up by planting boxes i  front of a green screen to imply it as a clearance area in a shopping centre and making it look some what realistic and accurate by comedic at the same time but yet again we hit another hitch when we went to collect the boxes there were not any but yet again i had a backup because i thought if we hung the snap boxes form the ceiling than it would give the same effect which it did after we green screened it and it was all very comedic which was good and helped out the project as well as it was all very cheesy after we reviewed the footage but it was all good and it seamed to be editable but it was fun and i personally feel like i helped alfie and sofie learn more and get more antiquated to the course as well as the software and equipment

Wednesday

We spent Wednesday morning going over the footage and it was all good and ready to edit but before we did that we spent a session with James fox (foxey) which was interesting and he seems funny and creative but i found out that he is a very good editor and i feel t]like because media wise our interests are similar like graphics and editing he could help me improve and teach me a lot which i am exited for and would learn a lot more that what i did last year to help me improve my skill and technique to improve my work . which is exiting and interesting to me because that is the career path that i want t follow.

As well as i spent the time in the morning looking through the freshers fair and it is nothing out of the ordinary but it was a refreshing change of location but it was all nothing special seaming that it didn't change much form last year but it was something nice and simple to do.

But the main thing that we did was the edit of our introduction project i felt went very well and was how i imagined it to go but i felt like it went well and the edit was nice for me to practice with the equipment and get my skills back as well as teach all of the new people some thing but it was interesting to know that alfie was very good with after effects but it was nice kn owing that if i  needed help he was there and he had a different skill set which also thought  something new and interesting but the edit went well with the green screen but it took a lot longer than expected but it was all fine and i enjoyed what i did and then thy announced that the level 2s as well as our group would be peering our work and watching it but fortunately the responses to the pieces was all good which made a nice finally to the whole induction week.
